Eligibility for Admission:

The Candidates should have

Passed the qualification of B Sc (Nursing ) Degree with 55% marks from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical or any other university accepted or equivalent there to.
Should have registered with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
B Sc Nursing candidates should have one year experience in a teaching hospital or in a college or school of nursing or in community health.
The candidates with B.Sc Nursing need not have one year experience after graduation for admission to the M Sc Nursing. They can be admitted to MSc Nursing soon after the graduation in any branch of study.
Candidates before seeking admission shall obtain an eligibility certificate from The Dr.M.G.R Medical University by remitting the prescribed fess along with the application form.

Admission Requirements:

The following Certificates/Documents have to be submitted along with duly filled application form (Originals + 5 photo copies):

Transfer Certificate from the Institution past studied
UG Provisional/Degree Certificate.
UG Mark Statements
Migration Certificate for the students who have passed UG Degree Course other than the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai
Council Registration Certificates from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The candidates who have registered with other state nursing council should submit the Registration Certificate of other state Council also.
Eligibility certificate obtain from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai
Community Certificate (Except OC Candidates)
Passport size photographs(5 Nos)
